Rowley Engineering was founded in 1954 by George James and is a private limited company. Producing components for larger manufacturers such as GEC, BRC, Dorman Diesel, Lotus Shoes etc, with a reputation for versatility and quality.
In the early eighties George's two sons, Brian and Alan recognised that the greatest opportunity for growth was in fabrication and having produced Bi-Steel posts for BRC, the fencing industry offered the best potential market.
With this in mind, Martin Watton, with many contacts and wide knowledge of the fencing industry joined as a director and later became a partner.
